Richard’s father introduced him to the registered Angus cattle as a young boy. He participated in 4-H with his cattle and many cattle shows. Knowing cattle was truly in his heart, in 1980 he started Spring Valley Angus. We do AI breeding and strive to produce well balanced cattle with favorable birth weights and well balanced EPDs. We utilize AHIR and use ultrasound for carcass testing. The annual bull sale is the first Sunday in March. Our goal is to produce top quality bulls with balanced EPDs and carcass traits to choose from. We welcome visitors to the farm anytime!
